ELSV MAGAZINE ISSUE 4 - PERSPECTIVES
ELSV MAGAZINE - PERSPECTIVES
NEW YORK [MAY 2016] – Perspectives, takes the Model Issue to the next level; following Issue 3’s release, Issue 4 delivers art and creativity and storytelling that delivers different perspectives our readers will find when taking in the concepts and art featured in this issue.
FINDING A CALM IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM, WHILE LOOKING FOR SOLITUDE IN A QUIET SILENCE SURROUNDED WITH CHAOS. TWO PERSPECTIVES CREATED TO MEET SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE.
A DESTINATION - TWO PATHS TO ARRIVE, TWO CHOICES THAT CAN EQUATE TO ONE ANSWER.
ON ONE HAND CONTINUING ON THE PATH THAT YOU’VE ALREADY TAKING WHICH HAS GOTTEN YOU WHERE YOU ARE; ON THE OTHER HAND, TAKING THE OTHER PATH INTO A NEW DIRECTION TO FACE AN UNKNOWN. WITH CHALLENGES OR ROAD BLOCKS THAT MAY COME, YOU STILL HAVE EYES AHEAD ON WHERE BOTH PATHS SHOULD LEAD. WHICH PATH DO YOU TAKE?Take a look at your own reflection in a mirror but seeing something different from what is shown to you. If one’s view differs from what is shown, which version actually stands to be correct? The mind can show us things beyond what the eyes can see but with two sides which do you believe.
Strangers cross paths and never meet yet for a single moment, can feel as if they’ve known each other all along or from some time before. People who’ve know each other so well can eventually turn into people who don’t know each other at all.
Shattered glass, reflected surfaces. Infinite possiblities of distorted imagery. Yet the mind translates it beautifully and in an instance the whole picture is shown clearly.
“The Devil Whispers... you cannot withstand the storm... The Warrior replies.. I am the storm.” - Unknown.
It’s funny how as people we live in a world through our own view point from our mind. Our mind is so much of it’s own that sometimes it will tell us we can’t, we aren’t strong enough, etc... It’s important to tell our minds or whatever negative entity to perish the thought. WE ARE THE STORM! - Zachary on Perspective.
“I believe that we rise by lifting others. We are here to inspire one another, to allow ourselves to be comfortable with our own unique characteristics. People are going to disagree with you but remember that they don’t see your vision or feel the love you have for your passion. Patience and persistence is key, always have a strong will power and determination. When you become the image of your own imagination, it’s one of the most powerful things you could ever do.” Chantal on ‘Perspective’
Issue 4 will distribute on May 5th 2016 and special edition prints available at McNally Jackson Bookstore.
