The design features a “melanin rainbow” emphasizing the variety of shades of Black while coinciding with the emphases on all of the things that come from Black Culture - that has been stolen, stripped away, used, reclaimed - but this statement is to remind some that these are Black Owned Things that can’t be undermined, replaced or used without it coming back to us.
